One Day Field Trip in Indiana, IN

Turkey Run State Park

The Turkey Run State Park encompasses about 2382 acres of the land space, which also includes water bodies for the purpose of swimming or fishing. The park sports many hiking trails, some using ladders and suspension bridges. Canyons can also be trailed over within these spaces. There are two historic sites as well within this park which are well known, the Lusk Home and the Mill Site. There are cabins as well in the park, if you don't want to set up camp. Must visit as events are held occasionally with respect to the nature and history of the site.

From 8 am to 4:30 pm: School Visits

Purposes: Assigned class observation (1^st to 5^th grade)

Interaction and communication with the assigned supervising teacher and students

Purposes: Afterschool Program (Sept. 11- 15) (dismissal time to 4:15 PM) and Teaching Practice: sharing Korean language and culture (i.e., at least 4 or 5 times)
